Kaofox Corp's NFT-based strategy game, Himo World, has announced its open beta launch. The open beta will go live in July 2022, giving players a chance to experience the most advanced version of the PvP title to date.
The free-to-play version of GameFi is the most innovative gaming vertical in the world thanks to features that are included in it. BNB Chain, which powers Himo World, uses a Create-to-Earn and Compete-to-Earn model that rewards players for their time. A strategic match 3 game, Himo World combines roster building elements to offer a variety of unique heroes with limitless skills.
The following features will be available in the open beta:
- Heroes can now learn new skills by leveling up
- Gold: a new in-game feature that is essential to the create-to-earn model
- Hero Perks: each Hero is endowed with different perks, which can change the course of action in every turn
- Roster Synergies: the Heroes you choose to battle with will give your Roster unique boosts
- New Rank tiers and new Arenas were added to the game
- New features, including Hero & Skill Fragment drops, Daily Rewards and other Liveops , are available for players to enjoy.
- The Open Beta Main Season will kick off in July with a $20,000 prize pool for the most competitive leaderboard chasers
Hiro World, available as both a mobile and web app, features features that will appeal to players at every level. Its Hero Progress System encourages repeat play with synergies and rank tiers that stimulate competition and increase longevity. In addition to PvP mode, future releases will enable players to participate in rogue-like player-vs-environment (PvE) as well as many other exciting game modes.
The beta version of Himo World was launched.
In Himo World, the first time the players' Heroes can level up is in the Hero Progress System. With their higher levels, they can learn new skills, which means that now the players can fill out unlockable skill slots to enable more Skills to be triggered. Genesis Heroes have high rarity and can learn up to 4 skills. Players can use Gold to unlock more Heroes' Skill slots at different level milestones.
Gold, a brand new in-game resource, will significantly contribute to the birth of the Create-to-Earn model in Himo World. In the game, the Gold earned after each match will scale by player’s rank level. The latest model in GameFi can help players become active “creators” and unlock more untapped potentials in GameFi, which is what Himo World aspires to be on its way to following.
In the final version of the game, there will be eight rank tiers, starting with Beginner and ending with Legendary. Each tier has five levels in which players must reach a certain rank point to unlock the rewards. Additionally, more ranks will be available when Open Beta is released.
Himo World is optimistic about the future of the Create-to-Earn model and competitive GameFi. The creators of this unique and creative Strategic Match-3 game strongly believe in a sustainable growth of the genre, in a future where the boundary between Traditional and Gamefi players is erased, to contribute to the rise of a new breed of gamers. This was proven by an impressive influx of new users since Closed Beta in May, plus high retention rate and engagement thus far.

Himo World is a game that has deck building, strategy mechanics, and match-3 gameplay. It's super easy to play, but unlike other casual match-3 games, it's challenging to master.
The game has several modes: Free-to-Play, Create-to-Earn, and Compete-to-Earn. Other game modes include Rogue-like PvE, Seasonal Ranking system, Tournaments, Token & Items staking and many more.
